DO NOT PURCHASE WITHOUT GAME CODE!!!
The Game is actually very good ... I agree with most others about the experience and the game play. The PROBLEM is that this game is ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS without the game code that is normally included. The normal game itself is FREE to download and play from their Website. The Mines of Moria expansion can be purchased there. There is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON TO PURCHASE THE BOXED GAME unless the redeemable code is included. The discs and "buddy passes" DO NOT WORK as they were created to play the game back in 2008. Nothing matters except the Game Code and most sellers will not advise you of that. If you do get the code ... the other reviews are correct as far as the benefits. This code allows you to upgrade to Mines of Moria as expected. In most cases, the only way to ensure you get ... Epic game.
The Lord of the Rings Online is a fantastic game. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of the franchise, or a fan of MMORPG's in general. Running Lord of the Rings Online on the highest possible graphics settings really is breathtaking. There are places you will vist that will just make you want to stand there and look at the beauty. To see some of the places Tolkien described in his works recreated here in the game is wonderful, especially as Turbine design these places to perfection. The epic storyline is by far the best i've ever experienced in an online game, and it really makes you feel as though you are helping the cause by assisting some of the recurring characters you will meet throughout Middle Earth. With the Mines of Moria expansion the epic storyline ... The Lord of the Rings Online is a fantastic game. For anyone who is interested in this game, the Mines of Moria complete edition is a must have. This is a fantastic way to start playing the game. My main concern about this item was its age. I was concerned that it might no longer be valid. It is very much valid. Just make sure you're getting a New, Unopened copy. This Complete Edition includes Mines of Moria & Shadows of Angmar, opens up Warden and Rune-keeper class adds 4 more character slots and a 30-day membership which opens up all areas for 30-days. The only thing you need to be aware of on the downside is that to activate it you must use a credit card (i believe there is pay type options) because they want to start charging you the monthly fee. But as you may know you can stop that before the 30-day free is about to end. Also. Don't do the 2CD install. I did that then opened it up and the launcher spent a looooong time uninstalling it. Great game whether your a Lord of the Rings fan or just a casual PC gamer. Being a big LOTR fan myself, It was very exiting to travel the sites of Middle Earth.
