    This Kenwood is a great unit for the price! BT alone makes this a great head-unit but, with the other capabilities it has, a person cannot go wrong, especially for the price.

    Great unit for a 2005 Chevy Tahoe!

    Great fit in my 2005 Chevy Tahoe. I did buy the dash kit Dash Kit DOUBLE DIN GM-K422 92-05 (approx $7.50 on Amazon) to fill any gaps and it worked beautifully. Wanted the steering wheel controls function so ordered the PAC RP5-GM11 to go with it. (after reading several reviews) This set-up worked great I did not need any extra wiring harnesses or antennas. I'm a 47 year old female with some old time radio installs in my background so I'm fairly mechanical but this was extremely easy. Plug and play for everything. Great upgrade (much louder) compared to the original stereo sound plus hands free calling etc. Highly recommend this set-up!

    Great budget head unit

    Great price on the head unit. Got my installed professionally at my local stereo shop. Overall the unit is great. Lots of features, good sound, usb slot reads mps's fast and the bluetooth works great and is easy to setup. You can also change the colors of the display to match your dash/interior lights.

    You could spend more, but why?

    Great transaction, stereo(Double Din) arrived with wiring harness for my sons 2000 4Runner , we matched the wires to the harness (color coded) to a "T" plugged in to the car harness...SOUNDS!! Our biggest challenge was misplacing some bolts, otherwise a snap! The stereo is as described and works well for my son who needed to connect his iPhone 5 for his unapproved Rap and Hip Hop. We are going to upgrade the speakers and then we are good. If you are an aficionado then you may want to spend a little more, but you can't go wrong with Kenwood at this level for the features.

    This is a awesome stereo it is great great buy for the money,

    Kenwood DPX-500BT looks and sounds really great . You can have many colors . One for display and one for controls . It appears to be able to hook up any way you want with what ever you want. Only down fall that I see it only holds 1 CD. I have never seen so many ways to hook it up . If you are looking for a 2din and tired of cheep crap. This is the one for you. I hope this helps who ever reads this. I can't say enough good things about this stereo. Got this for my girlfriend she says ,(it's the bomb) and it picks up more than twice the stations and sounds much better.even on stock speakers. She says you got to get you one. R Hamm
