  • Absolutely the best history of sailing ships ever printed

Incredible knowledge that is almost impossible to find and here it is all in one book. First published in 1929. The author was a captain and also a ship builder. He did it all. He shows development of ship shape and rigging. It also shows differences in commercial design and warships. A tremendous amount on rigging details and deck equipment. Totally fasinating. A must have if interested in sailing vessels. Buy all the author's books!!!
