Uncle Scrooge returns for another trinket-tracking trek across five exotic stages in DuckTales 2. Plan your itinerary from the following choices: Niagara, Egypt, Scotland, Bermuda, and Mu. As in the 8-bit original, the dapper duck uses a multi-purpose cane to navigate enemy- and trap-filled levels. The cane smashes objects, repels attacks, and functions like a pogo stick to reach higher areas. An assortment of attachments will enhance the cane's functionality as you progress. Between each stage, Scrooge can also exchange collectibles with items that restore health, resume progress, extend hit points, and more. The ultimate goal is to find seven map pieces hidden somewhere within each locale. Collecting them all will unlock a bonus area leading to the fabled McDuck family treasure.

Duck Tales 2: One of the Best Games on the Gameboy
As we all know, the Gameboy has hundreds of different games that provide hours and days of fun for us during our free time. Out of the hundreds of games that come out of the system, many games stick out from the rest and show what the Gameboy was truly made for: games that can leave you playing. There are the usual games such as Super Mario Land(1,2, and the Wario Series), Donkey Kong, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of the Foot Clan, the Megman Series on the Gameboy, and many more. Well this game, Duck Tales 2, is one of those games that definitely represents a great game on the Gameboy that should definitely be in your collection, here is why. Duck Tales was released in 1993 by Capcom. This is one of two released: One on the NES and one on the Gameboy a few months later. This version is an improvement on the first Duck Tales game released on the Gameboy. This game fixes many problems that came with the first version and adds even more features into the game that was not seen on the first Duck Tales. The first thing you find when you load the game is the wonderful music on the title screen. The music is the classic Duck Tales theme song from the TV series. It is probably one of the best theme songs implemented on the Gameboy. I mean it is pretty obvious considering it was made my Capcom, the ones who created the brilliant Megaman series of games on the NES and Gameboy. Once you enter the game, you are given a story about the boys finding a piece of a hidden treasure map where they must find the rest of the pieces to complete the map and find the buried treasure. Soon, you are taken to a map select screen where you are able to choose which ever area you would like to visit, making it a lot easier so you don't have to restart all over again or track back all your steps. The gameplay is great. Just like Duck Tales, Mr. Scrooge is jumping on a pogo stick jumping over enemies to find treasure and jumping over many obstacles Mr. Scrooge has to get past. In this version, Scrooge can lap onto hooks, pull levers using his cane, hook on different objects, and launch different objects to break certain obstacles to progress the level. As any other Duck Tales game, there are many hidden paths and gems which keeps you up to playing to find them all. The game also fixes on a couple of minor issues and adds a lot more. As, told Scrooge can do other things to progress the levels. Well, in this game, they added a shop system where you can actually spend your money on different items in the shop. Though the shop was added, it pretty much forces you to buy some items in the shop such as the safe which lets you continue at a point. This is kind of frustrating when you want different endings in the game when they want you to buy the safe for you to continue from where you started. Yet that may seem as an opinion, it still create preventions from yourself not getting endings yo wanted in the game. The bosses are very interesting with villains from the TV series popping up as bosses to beat. The bosses can be easy or hard if you know the patterns of each boss. The bosses are also very nice graphical wise considering viewing from a black and white screen. As many add-ons were added into the game, many fixes with the first were fixed with the second. They fixed some problems with Mr. Scrooge and actually allows you to pogo on ledges without falling straight into the abyss if you miss the landing when pogoing. They even improved graphical wise which was great for the game itself and for those who saw the first one on the Gameboy. Once you beat the game, you are presented with different stories at the end of the game. Each story does depend on the outcome when playing. For example, if you Mr. Scrooge of his money, you get na exclusive ending with dialogue. Yes, there are many endings which leaves you wanting to play more to find out the other endings. My Final Verdict: My final verdict with Duck Tales 2 for the Gameboy is that it's a wonderful port to the Gameboy from the NES. This is great since Duck Tales for the NES is pretty rare due to its release near the end of the NES life cycle. Yet you may not be able to purchase the NES version of the game, this is still a wonderful recreation and is super fun to play. I do play it once in a while during trips and other occasions. It's such a super fun game that I definitely recommend picking this game up when starting a collection or just having a game for your Gameboy. Duck Tales 2 for the Gameboy is one game that should definitely be picked up. It is pretty is easy to find this game pretty cheap so what are you waiting for?! Get Duck Tales 2 for the Gameboy!

This game is great!
Much like the first Duck Tales, this game is very addictive and fun. It has a very high replay factor which most games today are missing. I hope they will release this and the first Duck Tales for the NES on the Wii Virtual console. This is a great game for any age. Very very fun! If you do not have it get yourself a copy now.
