    True to the reputation

    I used this for my bull elk this year. Shot prone, rough area, elk was on the side of mountain 318 yards so I needed the extension to shoot up. Worked perfectly. Too talk for bench shooting, but I did practice at the range sitting cross legged with the arms extended.

    Good basic tripod

    I have a couple of shorter, sprung leg, tilting Harris bipods but needed something taller for one specific task that didn't warrant the expense of the higher spec. versions & this fit the bill. Nice & solid & gave the clearance needed for an awkward shot off a sloping position.
