A Fan's Must Have!
If you are a fan of Sonny & Cher you owe it to yourself to read this book. Sonny did an excellent job of putting together the memories that he had. Gives the reader the chance to look inside his head at a certain moment and realize what he was feeling and thinking. You learn so much about the man himself. Number one: He loved his family and was a good person all around. Number two: He loved Cher. Number three: He loved Cher ....period. He was very fortunate that wife number four, Mary his widow, understood and loved "Sonny & Cher" as much as he did. I grew up with them and they will always be a part of my life and memories. And the Beat Goes on by Sonny Bono
Sonny and Cher were great together and the connection they had is forever even though Sonny is gone. Sonny's side of their story, from the beginning to the what you never feel is really the end, is told matter of factly with no cushion. Much has been written by and about Cher, and Sonny's point of view clears the air about rumors, truths and untruths written about their lives.
