    automatic 15 min. break time

    took a little bit to get our chocolate lab to use it, she still wants our participation which is totally understandable. the only issue we have with it is we wish we could bypass the aurtomatic 15min shut down, getting our dog to take a rest is not an issue for us, but if we leave it on and she want's to fetch again we can not get it to work if its in the rest mode. I did not see instructions in the box when we got it so maybe there is a way to get it to work again when its in rest mode. Anyhow our dog Roxy loves it and helps when we want to take a break from throwing it!

    Over engineered for the average dog

    The build quality seems fairly good and the price was good. I am trying to get my dog used to it. She has quite a short attention span but is very energetic. The time out feature is something of a disaster as we are just starting to get interested when the machine stops for 15 minutes. The 15 minute play time is way too short and cannot be adjusted. The machine also makes strange noises from the speaker which she finds distracting and off putting. Maybe an older dog with a different personality would be better suited. It is going to take a long time for my dog to get to grips with this machine. If the play time could be extended we could get her used to it much more easily.

    Timer instead of sensor

    The sensor really prevents my pet's enjoyment of this toy. I'm finding it difficult to train my pet when the toy is affected by me as I stand close to it. I would recommend a timer setting rather than a sensor as it hard to train a pet to stand at a certain point for the launcher to be activated as well.

    Not worth the money

    Biggest issue was with the safety feature my dog would get to inpatient every time it was shut down when he moved and only 15 minutes operating at a time the reason you buy the machine is to give your hyper dog lots of exercise 15 minutes is not enough then the dog loses patience and starts knocking the machine over then it breaks

    PetSafe ball launcher

    Was originally impressed from the videos I saw on YouTube but after getting it unboxed and out in the yard the darn thing on the farthest setting would only throw 10 feet. Tried with different tennis balls same result. The best results I've had with it are using the blue racquetball explosive balls. They are a little smaller a lot lighter and they actually shoot the 30 feet as advertised by the machine manufacturer. If I were to do it again I would spend a little more and get one of better quality
