    So glad i found someone that knew what they were talking about many distributors said it would not fit not really,biker billy guaranteed it it's sweet

    Works great good deal and a lot said it wouldn't fit but ran up on a site biker billy guaranteed it to fit and like a glove it did and sounds really great but no where on it's application does it say it fit's a 1000 xls many xl's it covers so now i belive it's safe to add to application it fit's xls love it

    Acceptable ignition kit with drawbacks

    Good price for almost complete ignition (timing advance mechanism is purchased separately) to replace breaker points which is fine for older, low compression engines. Beware though, when accelerating from already higher than idle RPM, the weights advance mechanism will not retard the spark timing like a system using VOES will, which can lead to pre-ignition on high compression engines. Reaches full advance too early and it stays there until RPMs are lowered to below 1000.
