      Good replacement for end-of-life product

      Recommended for anyone trying to replace this exact style of ceiling light. If you're able to go with a slightly different style, I would recommend a different brand, as these tend to fail after only a few thousand hours of service (claims that these are more reliable than incandescent are bogus in this case)

      This product is NOT a universal one & doesn't fit many of the older recessed lights housing so called high hats.

      Perfect replacement light with great longevity.

      I had my basement remodeled a couple years ago and the contractor used these lights. One was defective and this was a perfect replacement. Exactly what I was looking for to match the other lights.

      Arrived promptly in good working order.

      Others have had nightmares with quality control after a year of use. They are supposed to last many years. I only needed one unit, and with the horrible reputation this product has I took a gamble that at least one unit would last. The price was fair enough. I needed them because one of thirty units failed after two years of use. A contractor in another review mentioned a fifty percent failure rate. Ask me again in two years.
