    Brand New APC Back-UPS XS 1300 with dead batteries.

    The item received what was advertised, but the batteries were DOA. Unless you unbox the product the seller or buyer will not know the battery dates. I can't fault the seller. Replacement batteries came at a cost of $40 for a set. The unit functions flawlessly for the items needing back-up power. It is an older model, available approximately 9 years ago. APC makes great Back-up power sources and is very good quality. There are many more, newer versions available for not much more money to consider, rather than buying old and having an additional cost incurred.
