Set in the 1930s, the film was directed by Roman Polanski and stars Jack Nicholson, Faye Dunaway, and John Huston., Presents the scripts for two films from the 1970s, one the story of a private detective in Los Angeles, and the other dealing with two Navy Shore Patrols escorting a prisoner.
