    What's Wrong With the Standard American Diet (SAD)

    I've been through the content of advocates for keto, carnivore, vegan and a number of the variants of each. This book explains the background behind the diet of our ancestors, and how anti-nutrients and specifically lectins in specific foods are causing negative reactions in the human body, which we and and the medical community choose to paper over with various drugs. I won't necessarily follow something just because someone writes or speaks it, but I will use this book to further refine what works for me.

    A deeper understanding behind weight gain.

    If you're ready to jump right in, this is all you need. I can not believe how great the recipes are. I've been cooking Cajun food my whole life and I'm a good cook; these new recipes and ingredients are opening up a whole new world of flavor for me. I'm having so much fun cooking, I haven't been hungry for a second, and I'm really not missing anything. I can't wait to get to the next recipe!     Clear,concise listing of which foods to avoid, which to include, and why! While applying merely (at most!) 60% of Dr.Gundry's recommendations, I managed to lose 15 pounds, and keep them off. Have reached a weight plateau, but together with diligent exercise I am sure I will further reduce my weight and improve my overall health.
