Shipping was fair and not artificially inflated. This is a nice change on eBay. Item was loose so came in a sealed in durable bag. Item is exactly as described. Seller offered the figure at a great price. Will buy from seller in the future if possible.

Great device when you have some odd problems to solve.

Works exactly as advertised. Worked great with my existing Link Powerline network. Set up and running in 2 minutes. Was pleased to see it still allowed me to use my top outlet on the wall outlet ( for thin plugs ). Actual real world throughput is about 60Mbit for my power wiring in my house, but that is to be expected. Consistent low latency performance of moderate bandwidth is way better than spotty wifi.

  • Top critical review

Not as advertised - speed is reduced 50%

The advertised speeds (500Mbps) may be right if you have a gigabit net. However, my home net has 35Mbps down/5Mbps up. After installing the two devices, checking solid LEDs indicating good mutual connection, what I get is 18Mbps down/5Mbps up which is half the bandwidth. Trying different sockets confirmed this 50% bandwidth loss. Apart from the misleading description and low speed, the connection is stable and reliable

  • Easy to set up. Trash speed...

It was very easy to set up and came quicker than expected BUT the speed seems to be worse than my wireless connection I’m sure it because I have it in a bad wall socket but for now Ill leave it at 4 stars until I can’t fix it

  • Works Great! Extends high speed network to the far side of my house.

These work great. I use them to bring internet to my desktop in my office on the far side of the house from the router. This works better than WiFi, which my desktop doesn't have anyway.

  • Speed of Connection was Disappointed

It was easy to setup after a few minutes of confusion. The connecting speeds were far below 500Mbps as advertised. I tried them at different locations and achieved mostly under 10 Mbps, from below 2 Mbps to 80 Mbps, which was much lower than my old adapters which specifies speed of 200 Mbps. My modern supplies up to 400 Mbps of internet connection. The 80 Mbps speed was achieved when using two outlets 5 feet away from each other and the rest tries were at speeds under 10 Mbps. The advantage of the adapter is it provides three CAT 5 outlets. The indicating lights are also helpful.
