    Bought this because an actor was my friend

    I only bought this because I knew one of the principal actors in it. The young boy who played Tad Lincoln was a very close family friend of ours. He was about 11 in this movie but today is 61. I wanted to see him acting while young and have my memories of him. Knew him since he was 9 years old and he stayed at my home. The plot of this is very good. Picture quality is Good to Acceptable, but this can't be helped considering when it was filmed and the limitations back then.

    This is a very rare hard to find masterpiece in television. I'm so glad I snatched up this copy. I had this wonderful production with my voluminous film Library which was all destroyed in a warehouse fire when I was moving cross-country
