    I got what I needed quickly & I’m happy with the transaction but the listing had a different part number under the “about this item” section than the title does. The seller has an item for sale under that different part number that appears exactly the same. (N737410 vs N865076). I couldn’t tell the difference based on the listings so I contacted seller to clarify. Never got a response so took a chance & ordered. I think I got what I needed but I’m frustrated with the lack of communication.

    Minor modifications required, but good

    On my Craftsman LTS 1500 one of this cover's straps was too short so I had to relocate it closer to the attachment point on my mower deck. No biggie--just drill a hole in the plastic. Also my mower deck lacked the tab on top so I fashioned one from a piece of metal strap. Also no big deal. Other than those things it fits perfectly. You kind of have to fiddle with it but now it sits perfectly in place and covers the hole very well. I took the chute off so it'd be easier to put this cover on and I don't have any problems with clippings flying out through gaps in this cover. I have spent a couple of days mulching leaves in my yard and have been very happy with this cover. Now I just have to figure out how to keep clippings from flying out from under the front of my deck...

    Great cover for mowers prior to 2009 and after

    Due to my mower being purchased prior to 2009, I could not find a mulch plate cover to fit my 42" Craftsman riding mower. The item was new and arrived on time. Being a female, I had to get my son to stretch the second hook attachment piece to the mower, as it took some muscles to pull. Other then that it fits great.

    Fantastic item!

    Received plate today, I installed (very simple) then proceed to to mow the front and backyard. The cut mulching was fantastic I couldn't even see the grass clippings. There were some fall leaves on the grass (light) that disappeared. I will never go without the cover again. I used to just let the grass go out the shoot on the grass and always had a mess. I'm very pleased with my purchase and it's made very well. For the price one can't go wrong, try it you will like it. Thanks for a great product for my Craftsman YTS 4000, 😊👍🇺🇸.
