    Well designed and practical

    I am enthusiastic about Antec products; right now, four XP systems are powered by the 350 watt PS. They worked so well for the last 3 or so years; that, three of these 450 watt PS are installed in my Win 10 systems. Computing uptime and reliability is of paramount importance.

    Ran well while it lasted

    I had this PSU installed in a new Ryzen 3 system. It worked well for about a week, but then the computer just shut off, no warning or anything, and wouldn't power back on. I turned the PSU power switch to the off position, then waited a few seconds, and turned it back on, and couldn't get the computer to turn on. No LED lights, no fans, nothing. Just totally dead. Sad, considering that the price was good and the reviews I'd read about this model beforehand had high opinions of it. Maybe I just got a bad unit, I don't know. What I do know is that I'm on a backup computer right now thanks to this unit dying on me.

    very quiet Antec 450 Watt PSU

    I upgraded from an Antec Basic BP350 which was a couple years old to this very quiet Antec VP450 Watt PSU. The Antec VP450 held up well while running an EVGA 2 GB graphic video card. The Antec Basic BP350 couldn't hold its own while running a PNY 512 MB graphic video card.
