        Worked perfectly on my pc!

        I got it within a couple of days after order and was very happy about it then i opened my computer remove the heat sync cleaned it and applied some thermal paste to the new cpu and put it in the socket put my heat sync back on tested it and it worked! Super happy about it and then i was able to have more speed and 64 bit now and i installed windows 10 I would absolutely recommend this product!!!

        Exactly as ordered except it didn't work. DUD!

        Obviously it wasn't tested before it was sent to me. It still had heat sink on it from the last install that was done to it(dried and caked on, suggesting it over heated at one point hence why it was a parts computer).

        Good product for mild system upgrade

        Since a major computer update is astronomical in costs, took my old asus m2n-sli deluxe and upgraded CPU from 4800 w/1gb memory and increased efficiency with a 6000 2gb duel core chip. That plus maxing motherboard memory has given my computer a few more years of productivity, and me time to save for major upgrade to a 6-8 core chip system.

        125 TDP version of the quickest of this series processor - just be sure it will work for you.

        If you have an older AMD Socket AM2 PC, say of the Windows Vista or early Windows 7 era and you want to upgrade the Athlon 64 x2 series processor - this is as fast as they go. Now you do need to make sure the power supply and motherboard will support this 125 thermal power design Windsor version as many systems are limited to the more costly 89 TPD version. For me, this works well in my trusty old Dell Inspiron 531 that I purchased new in 2007 and has helped keep it in service just a little longer running Windows 7. Will it make your vintage PC a gaming monster? Of course not. But it will keep it up to the performance of entry level new PCs provided RAM is also up to modern needs.

        Super easy install, really, anyone can do it.

        It gave my old machine a very needed boost. Excellent way to enliven an older machine. I installed this wihin 10 minutes, and it was a breeze... and works magnificently.
