        They Do Their Job Better Than "Well"

        These Barbie movies are by no means film-changers of their eras. But they're sweet stories with good messages, and they try to have very simple but engaging storylines with nothing that could go over your head. They treat kids like kids, yes, but their focus is on making kids feel included and invigorated by imagination; they take the building blocks of this story to buy the product and make it into their own stories. They put a lot of effort into movies meant for their demographic audience, meant for little kids, and they don't try to go beyond that age group but they also tackle that age group better than they have a right to try to be. Even more than that these movies have a lot of heart and love put into by people who wanted to make a great product for kids. I wish that last part ...
