    Great looking and happy memories.

    I have been eager to play the vinyl records that are languishing in the basement...especially the vintage ones that haven't come to life in years. Many are in line to be played and ready to bring back fond memories. Thank you for such a nice turntable with the added features of a CD player and radio.

    A FAKE VICTROLA

    The case is made of a brittle plastic that is cheap and non-forgiving - to put it succintlly, if you open the lid a full 90 degrees the hinge will break renderring the phonograph unuseable. Sound quality is ok but lacks base. It's a foreign made cheapee with the "VICTROLA NAME" ONLY!

    Retro Player brings back nostalgia

    I purchased the replica player for one reason. To play my 78 record collection. At first I was disappointed in the sound quality of the speakers. But then I came to realize, this is probably how the folks of the 40s and earlier heard this music. I like the looks of the player. When the tone arm completes play, it does not automtically return. After a bit, it does stop at the end of the record. So it suits what I bought it for.
