        Utterly delightful, well done adaptation of P.G.Wodehouse's stories of Jeeves and Wooster

        Years ago, I read all the Jeeves & Wooster stories and had to buy them for myself. Somewhere I read that P. G. Wodehouse had said that literature's purpose was either to instruct or to entertain; and HE chose to entertain! How I love his way with words and, my, how he entertained! Makes me smile just to think about it! This series is a marvelous adaptation. Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry are perfectly suited to this production. I still say that you ought to read the stories as well (no matter what you do, you cannot portray everything that Wodehouse wrote down...too many priceless descriptions). But this is a set well worth having, lighthearted, funny, always a jolly good ending.

        Jeeves and Wooster with Subtitles: Great Find!

        I'm a huge fan of the Jeeves and Wooster series. When I found the 2014 edition on DVD, with subtitles, I was thrilled! I've watched only two episodes so far; the quality seems fine. I wouldn't have minded paying a bit less, but I didn't want to miss the opportunity, so I jumped on it.

        British comedy at its best

        British comedy did not start and end with Monty Python. This is an hysterically great series that must not be missed! See Hugh Laurie before he put on that American accent and became Dr. House. You will be amazed.

        Hard to find DVD collection for cheap!

        I couldn't find the Jeeves & Wooster collection anywhere (new) for this price. It's such a good deal, and I really enjoy watching them again and again.
