    Unplugged model railroading fun!

    This is a classic O-scale train set that operates by windup. There was a circle of track provided, but the train will run on any O-scale track including modern-day Lionel track for its line of trains including Polar Express, Disney 100, and others. In fact, this set was purchased to have a backup loco for a Disney 100 train set, and it works fabulously for that. It also works well for 1/43 scale Christmas Village displays. It's just a really fun item.

    the car was in remarkable condition for 60+ years old and as for no box ---boxes don't ride the rails to good so it didn't matter. The packing was great
