    Product Information

    Katharine Ross stars in this classic horror film as Joanna, a woman who moves to Stepford, Connecticut, along with her husband Walter (Peter Masterson) and her best friend Bobbie (Paula Prentiss). As the two women meet the other housewives who live in Stepford, they begin to notice that all of them are interested only in cooking, cleaning, and pleasing their husbands. Joanna and Bobbie are further alarmed when their husbands join the mysterious Stepford Men's Club, which convenes in a heavily guarded mansion and harbors a nefarious secret agenda. Based on the novel by Ira Levin (ROSEMARY'S BABY) and followed by the made-for-television sequels THE REVENGE OF THE STEPFORD WIVES, THE STEPFORD CHILDREN, and THE STEPFORD HUSBANDS.

      STEPFORD WIVES IS STILL AN OLD FASHION HORROW DELIGHT

      Stepford Wives is yes, an old fashion oddity. Males reign and women serve. It'll never happen today. I still found the film a odd horror tale to remind us of the good ole days, or were they?

      All About the Women! You all know what men are like!

      I truly love this movie from 1976 - it is so much better than the remake that came out about 8 years ago or so. This one has Katharine Ross with Paula Prentiss and they are great together about the women who move to Stepford and their whole outlook on life begins to change after arriving and moving to Stepford Connecticut - it is a weird movie but it is done very well and is a drama with semi or real light horror. I think that the movie came off very well.

      Beware of the perfect place to live...

      Stepford looks like a great place to raise your kids but in this 70s movie, a wife is not safe. Once your hubby joins the "Men's Association" you're done for! As they will create your "double' and have her kill you off. Your hubby will have your likeness to always be at his beck and call for any desire he wants. You will forever be young...kinda comical kinda cheesy & creepy but nevertheless a iconic movie. Who doesn't love Sam Elliott's real wife- Katherine Ross...shes great'!!

      Suspense at it's best!

      Fun, suspenseful movie. Not the same campy fun as the Nicole Kidman remake (love that one too) the original is darker & more ominous. Ending has a horrifying twist. Quality of video is top notch, fast ship, good price!
