They (whoever eBay is using) don't authenticate something but they never give a specific reason, only a general one. In this case maybe this decades old ring was maybe13.5 carat but was marked 14K. Who knows what the issue was, but we acid tested it when it came back and its 14K. We will relist it with weasel words to get it to pass but its a shame that the Authenticators aren't more helpful.
