    Using wireless command control with the MRC 1410

    The MRC1410 is a Digital Command Control System is one of the products of MRC. It is an earlier model, but for the novice or intermediate who has a N-gauge or HO-gauge model train layout. It is relatively easy to operate and can handle both train DCC engines and some accessories. There are several systems out there, but this is one of the lower priced systems that most can afford and get a worthy product that adds a level of train control that is above the non-wireless control systems. I am happy with the system I purchased on eBay and am well satisfied with its performance.

    Best price and features on the market, in my opinion.

    Have had the MRC tethered controls for four years on my old layout, and it has preformed as well or better than NCE or Digitraxx. The wireless model is preforming very well. Tech support has been good, also.

    Those other guys? Like we say in NYC forget about it!!!

    I have NCE Powercab American 25, I would need to spend upwards of $2500.00 to get what MRC does at a so much lower price structure. Full wireless, so now the NCE unit is just used on a separate test track ONLY and since I have the mrc booster 8amp and the Prodigy Advance Squared systems I can expand my layout with CONFIDENCE that everything will work together, you cant say that with nce or any of the other systems and when you can and you look at the numbers it costs you 4 to 6 times more than mrc which works with Lenz and other makers items without problems and the money I saved will go to buying more locos , rolling stock and track or scenery!!!
