Synopsis
The M1 Abrams was the most radical departure in US tank design since World War II. Until the advent of the M1 in the early 1980s, the US Army had relied on the steady evolution of the M26 Pershing tank, through the M46, M47, M48 and M60. The M1 design came at a time when there were a host of important new tank technologies coming to fruition, in terms of structure and weaponry: these were integrated into it. This book details the design, development and operational use of one of the world's best main battle tanks.

This item was exactly as described on Ebay. I ordered 3 of these books and they were all in perfect condition, boxed together. In fact, they looked absolutely new. These books are excellent reference material with a wealth of information. The price was very reasonable and it was packed very carefully and secure, so no damage occurred during shipment. It was shipped really fast and arrived very quickly. I would not hesitate to buy from this seller again.

  • Easy read

This book is an easy read, not too long as compared to others. For any military/history buff, this has a fair amount of general information and images. It was good quick reference for me as I used it for some of my Abrams model builds. I rated it 3 stars because it contained info that could be searched on line. I'm not saying that in a bad way, just that I felt it could have been better. Still, nice little reference book to have.
