    The original Addams Family

    My inclination to buy this set was because I couldn't get the theme song out of my head. Actually, the opening credits are as good, or better, than many of the episodes. Carolyn Jones was more sexy as Morticia than she was as herself! The show is gloriously silly, and better than either of the movie versions.

    CREEPY & SPOOKY, MYSTERIOUS & OOKY

    I loved the series as a kid and I really enjoy seeing these shows again. The 'weird' character gags provide many laughs but tend to repeat each episode as different unsuspecting guests visit the Addams home which is the main set for the series. The episodes in the box set are somewhat arbitrarily arranged and not in 'date aired' sequence.

    Some damage in shipment.

    The dvds look fine. The box and some of the cases look like they were damaged in shipment. Haven’t had a chance to view them yet. Going thru an ice storm here with many power outages going on.
