    Well worth the price.

    A good deal for second bench meter, db function is a rare find on most DVM's. Downfall is batteries cost more then the meter!

    Fluke always a quality product.

    Unit is of outdated technology, but I wanted a benchtop unit and for the price it is a good deal/ The LCD display does leave a lot to be desired but I found a link on UTube where an upgrade can be easily fabricated to replace the existing LCD display.

    It’s a Fluke

    I used this model professionally in the 80’s and I wanted one for my home bench. These are tanks and still a great DMM if you don’t need the fancy features newer models have.

    Functional

    The 8050A units are notorious for weak LCD displays. The first unit I received the display was not working at all. The second one I received the display is weak, but readable. If you do a search on the net, you can find information on replacing the display.
