        Good smoothie maker

        This is good for making my morning protein shakes and blending a "whole food type juice. I have to use the largest container, though, because I usually put in a frozen or fresh banana and blueberries with some greens. The small container will not accomodate enough liquid to properly blend those ingredients. But, over all, it does what I need it to do.

        barely working

        When I received it and unpackaged it, I found that the base tabs that hold the top in were broken off. It worked properly for a couple days, but then I had to constantly move the top around to get the motor to work. I have had this blender for about 2 weeks and it is more of a pain to use than it is worth. This has made me learn a hard lesson on purchasing re-furbished items.

        Ninja BL450

        Ignore all the complaints about it making too much noise. It is a high quality product that make perfect smoothies every time in a few seconds. Pulse it a couple times and you're done. It has a high pitched wine similar to a vacuum cleaner but not as loud. The sound is not loud or annoying like everyone complains about in their reviews. It is the sound of a high quality, powerful blender. I used a cheap one for 4 years that my wife got on sale on Black Friday. The cheap blender made the same amount of noise as this one, but it didn't blend nearly as good, and I still had chunks of bananas in my smoothie after it was done blending. After using this one, I wish I would have bought a high quality blender 4 years ago. It is worth the extra money. Try one and you'll be glad you did.

        Easy to us - Fantastic smoothie maker!

        I was so happy when I saw my Ninja. It was exactly what I have been looking for. I have been using it almost every day to make my smoothies, and it's a breeze. It's also so very easy to clean- just take the blade off and run it under hot water and lay on a towel to dry. The cups are perfect and I really like having the two sizes.

        Tritan is the best!

        I love this size and the fact that it has a wide base so that you can swish around your shake when you're finished blending. Its also way easier to clean because of the shape. I use it every day and another new use...it will make the smoothest hummus you've ever had as long as you warm the garbanzos first and make a double batch (two cans). Absolutely love this Ninja accessory!!
