    Aluminum Basket Is Just Okay

    First of all this should be stainless steel - I would not have minded paying twice the price for something not aluminum. Second, it came crushed in the carton because of the soft aluminum. Easy to bend back - it's soft aluminum! Third - it makes me wonder what is boiling off the aluminum - we all now cooking on aluminum pans can cause Alzheimers, so that also makes me nervous. Fortunately for me this will be used for steeping grains for craft beer making and temps are well under 200deg. It would also be nice if it had stand-off feet on the bottom. As designed it sits flat on the bottom of your boiler pot with zero clearance so cannot prevent scalding or burning of anything you're boiling or cooking. The holes are punched out leaving a fairly sharp edge so if you clean it with a sponge ...

    Perfect cookware

    I used it for a seafood boil and it was perfect. Just add all your items in set in water cook and remove..... You won't have to fish shrimp out the water again nothing it was prefect all items remained in the steamer
