    Notepad-12FX: Lots of Bang for the Buck

    Similar in quality to a much larger, more expensive sound board. The mic preamps deliver a realistic, quality frequency range. I have yet to plug in a Hi-Z device such as electric guitar, nor have I used the Notepad with a keyboard, but I expect good results based upon my use with a condenser mic. I see the potential to use this board for live performance as I plan to return to gigging at public venues once the virus is brought under control. The master XLR outs are tailored to feed self powered PA speakers, which I use for my gigs. The quality of this unit lends itself well to my narrative projects as I also specialize in spoken word, hence the large diaphragm condenser mic that requires phantom power. The 4 USB channel configuration works well for me and the board does not overwhelm ...

    Great dual-use Mixer and Audio Interface.

    Works OK both as a mixer and audio interface. I wish the Lexicon effects were available at the Mixers's AUX output as they are present on the MASTER outputs. The Lexicon effects are ONLY present on the balanced XLR outputs. There's some, small latencey when using it with a Yamaha keyboard into my PC/DAW (I'm using Samplitude ProX) ,but it's not bad and quite manageable. I'm very pleased with its performance and dual-use (Mixer and 4 input Audio interface!).

    Great little mixer!

    Really nice mixing board. The onboard effects are also great! The reverb, specifically. I will be using this at gigs. It's small, about the footprint of a laptop and is a metal frame with plastic bumpers/edges on right and left side. This is a versatile little board; I'm really glad I chose this Soundcraft mixer.

    Good to go!

    I bought this on price and versatility. Was surprised shipping was a day early. Packaging was good. Easy to set up and great sound for such a small foot print. Onboard lexicon effects are very usable! I can see this getting quite a bit of use. First club gig done and it did just fine.
