    The Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP features a bright and sharp 2.9 inch backlit and front lit screen. With the ability to display 15 bit color and 512 colors at the same time, every title can come to brilliant life on the 240 x 160 pixel LCD screen. The black graphite clam shell case design can protect both the screen and hardware when the Nintendo Gameboy is in use and when it's not. Thanks to its flip screen design, you can close it for easy portability and storage. With dimensions of 3.1 inches high x 3.23 inches wide x 2.4 inches deep, you can even carry it around in your pocket. This Game Boy Advance weighs only 4.9 ounces by itself and 5.6 ounces with a game cartridge inside, so carrying a world of adventure around with you can be effortless. When opened, the classic button arrangement and D-pad placement are designed especially for user comfort and ease. Those familiar circular A and B buttons sit right where your thumb can comfortably reach them. The adjustable screen boats a flexible range of 185 degrees, so you can easily angle the display to sit exactly where you need and want it. The Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP's easily rechargeable lithium-ion battery can provide 18 hours of play with the light off. On its brighter setting, the battery can stay strong for around 7-10 hours. You can enjoy the many sounds of your Game Boy games with a stereo speaker that sits right among the buttons. When you want to hear your game without it being obvious, you can use your headphones by plugging them into a stereophonic adapter. Simple jacks on the back of the Advance SP can supply a surprising amount of options. Along with an AC adapter, there's a port that can allow you to connect the Advance to the Nintendo GameCube. There's also the Game Boy Game Link jack, which you can use to connect to up to three other players who are using any model Game Boy to battle or play co-op games.

      Gameboy Advance Sp & games

      This GBA is the ags-101 model with the dual brightness feature, graphite colored. It has very minor scratches, much less than expected or found on similar products. The graphics are bright and cute, the buttons function well and offer good gameplay. The games all function well and were in great shape. This was a quality purchase and we have already enjoyed hours of game play.

      Really nice

      Scuffs don't matter when the Game Boy works perfectly. I really like this graphite color even if I do prefer the original flame red as it holds a lot of past memories. I had purchased an original model weeks ago to replace my original and could not get used to the dim screen again. The backlit screen is so much better and I no longer have to hold it close to play. The difference is clearly night and day. Added charger is nice as well.

      AGS-101 GBA is the way to go

      If you're ordering an old GBA, make sure you order the AGS-101 as the screen is backlit and frontlit. It's like night and day compared to the AGS-001 model. If you're doing pokemon trading, you'll need a GBA transfer cable, the game boy color will only work for game boy color games.

      Old school is still good

      My son has had every latest greatest handheld system and still searched high and low for the right gameboy. It just proves old school is best! It works well and is very compact. Plays awesome games that aren’t available for the newer systems, according to my 12 year old.

      it's a great gameboy with a great looking screen

      the thing about this gameboy is that the screen is backlit and you can see it better. it will play gameboy color. game boy. and game boy advance games all in the same package. I will list some pros and cons of the gba sp pros: 1. it is a brighter screen and you can play better gameplays 2. it plays all gameboy games 3. it has good fun games cons: 1. the sound is not that good 2. you can not plug headphones in ok that is all
