It has messages in the outbox...could have been a testing process. But is has features in the main menu, like recording, that the other doesn't. Even when I update them to the same firmware and program them exactly the same, one has features the other doesn't. It's weird. But again, great product and super fast shipping. Will buy more of these from this seller.
