    Great lens!

    I had bought the adapter to use my other Canon lenses. But this is a nice size and form factor, made for this small body semi-compact EOS M3 camera. Images are sharp and the response time and focus is better than when using EF-S lenses with the camera. So, I'm very happy with it and taking with me on my next vacation.

    The Canon EF-M 18-55mm f/3-5-5.6 IS STM missed the mark !!

    The lens was listed as having: IS STM, but this was not printed on the lens itself. The lens did have Quartary printed on side of lens. The lens was loose when manually focusing, which contributed to a less than sharp picture. The overall price of this lens is very affordable, but I would recommend stying away from this lens because of the lack of quality construction and poor performing features.

    Excellent budget lens; superior construction and performance

    Aside from being less compact as a kit lens than the tiny 22mm prime lens for EF-M, this is a sharp and versatile lens. It had better image quality than I expected for a kit zoom, and it is physically smaller than I expected as well -- perhaps 20% smaller than a Canon EF-S lens, at least. The lens is durable, having a metal shell, and focuses quickly and responds nicely. Image Stabilization works noticeably well compared to lenses that don't have it (I have compared the results). It offers manual focus when in mode AF+M on my EOS-M2. All in all a really good deal, especially if you can find one for under a bill. Don't let people try to convince you that you need the more expensive models for a walkabout lens.

    High Lens Quality at Reasonable Price

    I have 2 small Canon EOS cameras M-3 and M-10. I am not a professional or very experienced photographer, but like to take along a compact camera when I travel. Like cameras better than smart phones. The lens is easy to use and focuses well. Have not taken many pictures since I got it. But, Canon is reputable, so I will learn gradually or find a source of information off the internet to give me some instruction.

    Cute little lens with great performance .......

    A basic kit lens for my M3... serves me very well with Sharp pictures in return.....Light and handy for everyday use without any issues. Picture quality is just super for its range & price. Built quality is not that impressive as is made of plastic but looks nice and perform well.
