        I enjoyed watching the Star Wars story about the the early years of Han Solo, and how he and Chewbacca became friends was very important in understanding where he came, and how he came to be known as a smuggler. It nearly completes the arc of Han Solo from his early years to his death. It has become a valuable addition to my Star Wars Collection. I would seriously recommend this dvd to all Star Wars fans and fanatics.

        Love Anything Star Wars!

        Wasn't sure how much I would like this movie without some of the original actors, but in typical SW fashion it's entertaining, engaging, and action packed!

        excellent back story of a well known character

        Solo is supposedly some of the back story of Star wars' Han Solo. The movie does an excellent job in rendering a believable (and credible) account of this. it desacribes his growing up on Correllia, the acquisition of his trademark blaster, the story behind his famous melinium falcon, and his meeting and start of the friendship between the legendary Chewbacca. It also settles the quesation of how the Kessel run was made in less time when Solo in "A new Hope" states it took less disrtance. Won't tell, you'll have ot watch it and it's worth weatching .
