    For the first time, every core Halo game in the franchise is available on one single system. "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" packs four of the Xbox 360's Halo games into a single Xbox One game. This set of four games follows the exploits of the heroic Master Chief in his campaign against the Covenant. Whether you're a newcomer to the franchise or you've been there from the beginning, this collection is worth adding to your shelf. "Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary" is the first game in the series. Microsoft has redone this title from the ground up for the Xbox One. The original game's graphics were completely redone in regard to textures, models, and special effects. Players can switch back to the old graphics with the press of a button. The entire campaign of the original game is unaltered, letting players relive their favorite moments from 2001. "Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary" will take most gamers roughly 10 hours to complete. The second game in this set also received a similar makeover. "Halo 2" features improved graphics for the models and special effects. Like the first title, players can switch between the graphics modes at any time. The audio was also re-recorded in terms of soundtrack and voices. The improvements don't stop there: The cut scenes were extended and provide further insights into the story. "Halo 3" and "Halo 4" were originally released on the Xbox 360. As a result, the graphics in "Halo 3" and "Halo 4" have held up over time. Both games, however, still received touchups for Xbox One consoles. With the additional improvements, "Halo 3" and "Halo 4" look outstanding even when compared to video games made specifically for the Xbox One. As an extra bonus, "The Master Chief Collection" also includes the digital series "Halo: Nightfall." This show uses a live-action show to tell a story not seen in any previous title. "The Master Chief Collection" features a total of 45 campaign missions spread across all four games. As a result, this version packs more than 30 hours of single-player gaming onto one disc. When you've finished all the single-player modes, the fun is far from over. The title features a full suite of multiplayer gaming modes for both local and online play. The multiplayer mode features over 100 maps, including every map from both "Halo 3" and "Halo 4." Six of the maps from the second title were also completely redesigned from the ground up. The collection also features every multiplayer type, ranging from the simple Deathmatch to the fan-favorite Oddball. "The Master Chief Collection" on the Xbox One makes the perfect gift for any gamer who is looking to get into the franchise, or you can add it to your own shelf. The games have a rating of M for mature. With four single-player games and over 100 multiplayer maps, this game provides many hours of play.

        Great idea, phenomenal graphics, great value!

        Was real happy, arrived fairly quick once shipped. Came with nightfall/ halo channel redeemable code. Comes with 4 games but anniversaries for 2 which is like 6 kinda. Comes with reach, halo 2, halo 2 anniversary, halo 3, halo 4, and combat evolved. Gameplay is great! I bought this April 11 2020 and needed an update which took hours. Lots of games to update let it update overnight while playin Hulu. Would strongly recommend!

        Great Games, awful excecution

        I love halo, so when this collection came out I was beyond stoked. Halo 2 remastered looks incredible and brings back great memories. The collection is great when your play campaign solo or with someone sitting right next to you but falls apart when you play online. Its almost impossible to find a match , and forget about trying to play online co op with someone (which is specifically what I purchased this game for). Like it says on the tin, great games ruined by awful execution

        Halo collection is awesome!

        Halo 1 & 2 have been beautifully remastered (and look better than Halo 3) in this awesome collection of all 4 classic Halo games. Follow Master Chief through Halo 1-4 campaigns, multiplayer competitions, and couch co-op. There's so much to do for such a low price. If you've never gotten into Halo, this is a great way to begin the journey

        Halo The Master Chief Collection

        All of my Halo Xbox 360 games could not be played on my Xbox One (they are not backward compatible). In addition the last time I played Halo 2 was on my original Xbox. This package remastered Halo 1 and Halo 2 (they look great). In addition I can now play all the past Halo games on my Xbox One. Hours and hours of fun for just over $20; who can ask for anything more?

        Good value for what you get

        It's a neat package, you get all the original 4 Halo's in one place plus ODST. So if you never had them before as I hadn't now you do. It's a good bang for your buck. Now FPS's have changed somewhat in the last decade, but they're still good games and you can catch up on all the history of Halos world.
