    The BBC takes us back to Tudor England.

    I remember seeing The Six Wives of Henry VIII on tv way back and loved it. Later saw Elizabeth R with the Great Glenda Jackson and was really impressed. Shadow of the Tower is new to me. The BBC does these shows better than anyone else. The set came in good shape as described. I’m very pleased with this purchase .

    BBC TV 1970s Tudor Collection

    Excellent value for those interested in costume period drama regarding Tudor royalty. Six Wives of Henry VIII 1970, Elizabeth R 1971, Shadow of the Tower 1972. I recall seeing both Henry VII and Elizabeth R on Masterpiece Theater in the 1970s. Rudimentary staging and music for those used to modern TV and film standards. Set of 3 released on DVDs in 2010. Please note: Shadow of the Tower does not have Closed Captioning available.
