        Important features" works great.

        This thermometer tracks not only the meat temperature at the inverted sensor; but also the ambient temperature in the oven enabling it to predict the time it will take for the meat your targeted temperature. So, if you want to slow that down or speed it up, you can adjust the oven temperature to end up with the timing you need.

        Good Thermometer for the price

        Great packaging. Works well except it has a very limited distance for the Bluetooth connection. I use it in a Weber and I have to be within 5 feet of the BBQ to get a connection. Otherwise it works great and the price was also good.

        This MEATER helps me be a better cook

        This dual temperature sensor works great. However it’s got a very limited range. If you need longer range, get the MEATER +. One of my favorite features is the app and how it sets up the cook. Secondly, it will tell you the ambient temp of your grill, or oven. I’d advise letting it fully charge up before you try to pair it for the first time. It makes me appear to be a better cook than I am.

        Wireless Cooking Perfection

        My first time using the MEATER was on a Prime Rib over the Holidays. I set the internal temp to 114 degrees...knowing the temperature would rise to about 124 degrees during the rest period. The MEATER alerted @ 104 degrees which was a bit early for the medium rare target temperature. I reset it quickly, now realizing the MEATER automatically takes into consideration the rest time in its calculations. Needless to say it came out perfect. So, set it to the desired temperature you are looking for and the MEATER will do the rest. #wirelesscooking, #meaterlover I’m a huge fan!!!

        Would be 5 based on meat that has been cooked so far, only reason not a 5 is this is the first edition MEATER and does not have great range for picking up Bluetooth on my phone, about 30 feet, so cooking outside on grill requires close proximity. If you need more range buy the MEATER +.
