Inhaltsangabe: Einleitung: Das wirtschaftliche Dilemma in den Betrieben des oeffentlichen Personennahverkehrs ist allgemein bekannt. Um dem entgegenzuwirken, gibt es zwei gegensatzliche Strategien: Verkurzung der Betriebszeiten und Fahrpreiserhoehungen, um Kosten zu senken und hoehere Einnahmen zu erzielen oder Massnahmen zur deutlichen und dauerhaften Steigerung der Nachfrage. Letztere Moeglichkeit kann als das zentrale Ziel der vorliegenden Untersuchung angesehen werden. Es steht also die Verbesserung des Stadtbusangebotes fur eine spezielle Kundengruppe, namlich die Grosskunden im Bedienungsgebiet der Stadtischen Werke UEberlandwerke Coburg GmbH (SUEC), im Mittelpunkt der Betrachtung. Bei diesen wird mit Hilfe eines Fragebogens eine Befragung zum Fahrverhalten der Mitarbeiter durchgefuhrt. Die daraus gewonnenen Ergebnisse sollen zunachst analysiert werden, d.h. es wird der Ist-Zustand dargestellt. Im Anschluss daran erfolgt eine Interpretation, in der im Rahmen des Marketing-Mixes entsprechende Verbesserungsvorschlage ausgearbeitet werden. Die Ergebnisse sollen daruber hinaus die Moeglichkeiten aufzeigen, die bestehen bzw. die bereits in anderen Verkehrsverbunden angewandt werden, um besonders im Berufsverkehr mehr Menschen zum Umstieg auf den OEPNV zu bewegen und somit die Strassen zu entlasten.
