        Decent,but not enough of their first tier artists!

        Though a decent price, the majority of the artwork was 2nd rate. The artists that really made THUNDER AGENTS worth buying in the past were Wally Wood, Gil Kane and Steve Ditko. Able to see their work outside of the D.C. or Marvel realm was at the time a real treat. In this issue those greats are underrepresented,with only one or two stories each.For collectors or followers of these artists it is a must have.Other than that it is a passable collection of 60s style drama.

        Adds history to the collected works

        I actually had a really great softcover collection of this archive but decided to purchase this simply because the hardcover edition has more information on the history the publication and on the artists. The price was also great being half the cover price and still in brand new condition. These are the kind that libraries collect. I imagine the fact that few people are even aware the Thunder Agents (they were a childhood favorite of mine) and miss out on the great art of Wally Wood, who really didn't do that much in terms of superheroes. It actually has many great works of other classic comic artists including Steve Ditko, Gil Kane, Mike Sekowsky and others.
