    Kool Chemex for Hot Koffee!

    Chemex pour over is great! The thing for me is, aside from making a robust flavorful cup of Joe, it's fun! I bought this 2nd unit (I already have the model with the wooden half-rings that go around the neck) mainly because of the handle. Less to mess with! This unit, also, came with brown filters instead of the white. I'm not positive yet but, I may actually like the brown ones better. Up till now I've only used the Chemex square white filters. However, the white ones have a strange odor when you "rinse" them with hot water prior to adding your coffee grounds. Either way, you get great coffee. It is easy to make it strong so, I would advise experimentation. I weigh out the water and beans - 35kg beans to 836kg filtered water. Makes a good-sized 2 cups. Froth and heat the ...

    The Best Coffee Maker

    I have used Chemex for thirty years. It makes the best coffee. I love the carafe with the blown handle. It is easier to use than the ones with the wooden collar. It is not as quick or easy to use as an electric coffee maker, but it is worth taking the time.

    Great Purchase!

    I really like this size and shape of the Chemex coffee maker. This is the third one I've purchased in a few years, so that should say something. It is elegant, makes GREAT coffee, and is the perfect size for me.
