      Nice addition...

      To the Dragon Quest Franchise. It's too bad this was never released in North America back in the day. Dragon Quest basically stopped at IV for years, and I never understood why. Glad to have it ported over to the DS, as I picked this up last month, and I've been enjoying it when I'm on the road. This game has new additions to the original SNES version, so why not pick it up. Good story, music, and I love the animated monsters. Be sure to check out the in game casino, and buy all the cool over powered stuff. Monsters won't know what hit em.

      Dragon Quest V is my favorite Dragon Quest game.

      I love the story of Dragon Quest V. Starting out as a child and growing up as a man, getting married, having kids, naming the kids. It is an old school RPG though, which means the battles are very hard and the game does not hold your hand and tell you what to do next...Which means a lot of level grinding and a lot of talking to NPCs to figure out where to go next and what to do next, but if you played the game before and you know what you're doing you shouldn't have any problems. My complaint about this product is that it came to me and in an eco-box, and I hate eco-boxes. I hate the little holes they put in there, I don't know why I just hate them. But that's a minor quibble.

      A wild slime has appeared!

      Dragon Quest 5 is a good RPG for the Nintendo DS. This was my first DQ game and I really enjoy it. The story and gameplay were compelling enough to make me play it for many hours. It may not be as great as Final Fantasy 6 or Chrono Trigger, but this is a solid port of one of the best RPGS on the SNES/Super Famicom. I would recommend this to old-school RPG fans.

      Still a good game even though it feels dated.

      It began with dragon quest IV Square Enix remade dragon quests 4-6 with the graphics and game engine of dragon quest VII. Although this remake has aged quite a bit it doesn't change the fact that the story is immersive and unique mainly due to how the main story spans multiple generations. I can see why Square Enix remade 4-6 due to how the stories seem somewhat connected to each other through the interesting plot of each game.
