an arguable top heavy paddle with AMAZING touch and control, provided you invest the time

This is both my first ever paddle of the Joola brand and one with any carbon surface generally speaking.. Today was my first ever day with this paddle. I could tell just by how well I dinked the ball over the net while hitting back and forth before any games that this is clearly a Franklin X-40 ball type paddle which is not too surprising because I already felt the surface of the paddle before using it. It has a similar gritty type feel to it. I went (6-2) today although a heavy enough of a wind can be the deciding factor at certain parts of the play.. This is the only paddle I've ever used even more advanced than the Franklin Benjamin Johns signature paddle, (which has Max-grit surface technology), and could very possibly be my new favorite paddle for the Franklin X-40 balls provided I ...

        Powerless, all control

This product was brand new and delivered in fine condition. However, the product wasn’t up to what I expected. It doesn’t really have enough power. I should have purchased one with a higher power rating and thinner paddle. I’ll be giving this one away. Lesson learned.

      • Not for beginners but 3.0 and above try it.

Been playing PB for about 5 years. I am 82 years old. play a solid 3.0. got this paddle and now pushing 3.5. The ball flies off the paddle and the spin is excellent, I am a spinner , 50 years of tennis. The surface is showing a few chips but all the spin paddles I have used show this. Thy it you well love your game. I would not suggest this paddle for a rookie. Two friends with $275 paddles tried it and both said wow.

      • Power and Control

Just right feel, touch and power. I still need more time to get the most out of the paddle, but so far it has been a real joy. My only negative is the size of the grip handle at 4.25 inch i prefer paddle with 4.12 or even 3.75. I played a 3.75 grip for 45+ years in racquetball.
