        Well-written, compelling

        Good and well-written book about origins of Freemasonry. Author takes a few leaps of faith, like anyone writing about this subject, but he explains his logic well. Non-masons would miss some of what is in this book, but any mason will recognize important parts of the book.

        Definitive Work

        Written by a non-Mason. The author set out to research & write about the English Peasants Revolt of 1381 and found the far more interesting story at the root of the revolt. The work is an easy, compelling and entertaining read. It is essential reading for Freemasons who wish to really understand the true origins of the craft.

        Good book about the 14th century England

        I purchased this book mostly for the Pheasants Revolt to learn all I could about one of my ancestors. I have enjoyed it and it does have a lot of information I was researching. Good job.
