      Works just like I hoped it would

      This spare tire carrier worked just like I had hoped it would. Easy to bolt on to the frame of the trailer. I suggest putting the carriage bolts that become the two studs that you mount your tire on with first before you bolt the bracket to the trailer frame. The press on nuts that retain the wheel studs to the mount take a fair amount of force to press on. Rather than chewing up your hand, I found that it makes it easier to get a deep socket wrench that fits against the outer ring of the press on nut, and use the socket wrench to push the nut on. You can even tap it on with a hammer that way if you use something solid to back up the head of the carriage bolt from the other side. Once the press on nut is on, it's on permanently.
