      New old stock can still mean bad deal

      Was no good. Ended up having to have my radiator replaced & the mechanic said that this raidator cap was no good it would not hold the pressure "New old stock" in some items is not good. Learned my lesson

      Preventative Maintenance

      I replace my caps every 4 yrs as a precaution. As they age that won't always work right. Stant anything is good.

      Wrong size

      This radiator cap was described to fit a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 and it did not fit.When I held them side by side they look almost exactly the same,but the rubber stopper was too small to seal the hole..Since it was only about 5 bucks,so I didn't even bother to return.We always take a chance when ordering internet parts.
