Shipping was free and took ~11 days to arrive. I suspect the item isn't truly brand new as described in the listing. The packaging wasn't sealed, and there is some weird glue residue on the front of the packaging and even on one of the earbuds. Other than that, I don't see any wear and tear on them. Not bad, considering I got them for $5 below market price.

Thanks for the glowing review. Come back anytime—The residue was just from the transportation stickers from the packages travels, when I tried to clean them off, the cleaning solution also rubbed off the inked information on the packaging, so I figured it would be best to leave the residue and the ink. Happy that they work for you though! 🎁✨

Don't be afraid to buy
Just because it says "refurbished" you should not dismiss this item. These units are checked at the factory and put through rigorous testing before being released for sale. You stand a better chance of getting a clunker when you buy new, because they are only batch or random tested prior to release. That said, this unit worked perfectly straight away out of the box on my Nikon D3200. Setup was easy and there was no problem connecting via bluetooth to my Samsung Tab 2 (once I downloaded the software from Google Play Store). This unit (and to a lesser extent) software work exactly as they state. However, the software is what I take issue with for the most part. It's kind of slow, clunky and basic. There is a lag between the time I press the remote shutter release and the shutter ... Just because it says "refurbished" you should not dismiss this item. Basic things like focus, change of aperature, ISO and shutter speed. One would think, with software this old that it would be updated. Additionally, if your camera battery is at less than 25%, it will not connect to your remote device. And it WILL drain your camera battery while connected. So keep spares. Lots and lots of spares. Lastly, the only way to disconnect is to shut your camera off and remove the WU-1. Other than that, there is no way to disable it when not in use. It's a fairly inexpensive workaround for Nikon cameras without an on board Wi-Fi device. Just wish they'd update the interface.

Works well with my Nikon D 7100 and my Samsung Smart phone but not the same with my Google Android tablet. On my smart phone I can see the picture before shooting but with my tablet there is no preview screen so you are shooting blind. Both smart phone and tablet lets you see the pictures on these devices.

This "little" device is makes quick work of transfering your picturies from your camera to any other electronic device and on to the cloud for safe keeping. It also acts as a remote control for your camera. Allowing you to set up your camera and frame your shots by remote viewing what the lens sees through your tablet or smartphone. Very small and necessary, does the job!
This product is very good, with the social networks been a must this day, this gave you the ability to instantly share photos in social networks and via text with friends. It also gaves you the ability to control the camera and take photos directly from the phone. It is very small and barely noticeable. Have had some connectivity issues but most of the time works perfect.

This is perfect for my online business. Now I can transfer pics directly to my phone rather than transferring to my computer, emailing them to myself, and downloading individually to my phone. Sooooo much time is being saved! I will note that pics need to be downloaded one at a time so that I can get the full size of the photo, rather than their recommended size. Also, I've noticed it takes a long time to choose a photo to download from the camera if you have hundreds of pics on the cameras memory card. I would recommend keeping your photo count low to make a smooth and uninterrupted transition from camera to phone. Otherwise I'm thrilled to have this device! Oh and just a tip, you have to connect your phone to your cameras wifi, not the other way around. Took me a while to figure that ... This is perfect for my online business.
