      Great Product

      Dremel products never disappoint. I use this to drill spondylus shells and it works good. I like that it has different speed options compared to the dremel 100.

      I wouldn't be without it.

      I bought this to replace the earlier model that I had used for over twenty years. That one finally gave up the ghost after a great deal of stalwart service. The newer model seems to be just as good as the earlier one - with a few modern touches to improve it. I like the captive wrench for tightening the collar, and the linear speed control - the rotary one on the older model was a bit of a weakness. It is a shame that the threads on the spindle have been changed - so the third party chuck that I used on the old one doesn't fit. Chucks to fit this model aren't expensive though - so not a big deal. Altogether, pretty impressed so far. It was less expensive to buy direct than to get it from a re-seller.
