Cheesy Italian Low-Budget Space Classic
I first watched this movie 30 years ago and since it still stuck in my mind after all these years, I decided I needed to get a copy. Did not disappoint on 2nd viewing, still a great howler. My spouse compared it to Plan 9 From Outer Space.(It reminds me more of Flash Gordon). Actors include a young David Hasselhoff, and Christopher Plummer as the Emperor. Some of the worst special effects ever (christmas tree lights as stars,lava lamp monsters), equally bad dialogue. Spaghetti Star Wars from the 70's
Pretty poor by today's standards, but if you go back 40 years, then this wasn't bad. An Italian knock off of Star Wars and Jason and The Argonauts with a HOT BABE Caroline Munro in sometimes skimpy outfits and a very young David Hasselhoff. By today's standards, this is pretty bad, but Caroline Munro is such a beauty that's it's worth a watch if you're into old sci-fi and bad effects. She was previously Dr. Phibes dead wife and only laid there dead and in pictures and was a beauty. Old But Good
Saw this movie at the drive-in when it first came out. Loved it then,love it now. :) The DVD was in perfect condition with the book included,also in perfect condition. Overall an excellent find and dealer. :)

Space Camp(y) Romp!
Saw this back in the late 70's and is just as campy today! David Hasselhoff looks like a teenager and Christopher Plummer knows his career has taken a nose dive--but what-the-heck--it's money! The Leggo starships are filmed against Christmas lights cosmos (you can actually see the bulbs) which is topped off with a rip off light sabre battle. Heroine is a ex Bond girl and does the part justice--whatever that means. But it is fun if you like B movies. Worth a try!Saw this back in the late 70's and is just as campy today!
