They were used earbuds in an open box that had finger nail polish and scratches on the case. The earbuds had dried earwax on them and all in the case to top it off they smelled like a $5 bottle of perfume. At no point did I try to 'convince' the buyer of anything - other than that if he wanted his money refunded that he would need to return the item as it was received - as is eBay policy.
