      Back on the road!

      My 1993 F150 suddenly was stuck in limp mode. I got a tow home and hooked up my code reader. However, the truck was not throwing any codes. I drained the system by unhooking my battery and running a jumper cable across the positive and negative cables, thinking I would reset my computer. After that, the truck would not start at all, whereas before it would start but was stuck in limp mode. That is when I figured it must be the computer, so I pulled it out through the fender well and looked inside. You could see that the three capacitors had leaked on the mother board. So, luckily I found this computer on Ebay and when I installed it, the truck now runs great! These people Module Madness saved the day and I am very thankful my truck runs again.
